A Basic Course in Field Ornithology and Bird Migration is being offered by BNHS (Bombay Natural History Society) at Point Calimere, Tamil Nadu. The workshop will focus on training the participants in bird population monitoring and understanding bird movement through through bird count and bird marking techniques. In addition, there will be classroom sessions on different aspects of bird migration study techniques. The course will include talks from various scientists of BNHS who work ringing and migration studies.
