7 Weaves Research Foundation is conducting a Spring Bird Count at Deepor Beel, a Ramsar Site and an Important Bird Area in Guwahati to carry out a comparative diversity study of the birds in the lake during spring. Deepor Beel, with an area of 40 km², is one of the most important wetlands of Guwahati with more than 300 species of birds. Guwahati birders don’t miss this opportunity.
