Greater Adjutant Conservation Through Community Participation In Assam, India

Greater Adjutant storks are considered globally threatened, and Assam is home to some 90% of their worldwide population. With continuing threats to nest sites, and a gradually decreasing population, this species is of considerable concern. This conservation programme is an attempt to save the storks by spreading awareness and participation in the local community.
