The Onam Bird Count in Kerala is an annual celebration of birds in the State. To participate in it all you need is to go out and count birds during the Onam festival. This event aims at getting more people interested in birding, and generating a yearly snapshot of the bird population in Kerala. The birds can be counted or watched from anywhere in Kerala for the 4 days of the event by uploading as many 15 minute lists into eBird.
