Bird Count India in collaboration with Bird Conservation Society Gujarat (BCSG), is organising its 3rd Passage Migrant Count from September 13th to 15th 2024. This unique bird monitoring event in Kachchh, Gujarat focuses on species that use this region’s desert and arid landscapes as their stopover sites during their migration to their wintering grounds in Africa. In the past two years, over 100 participants have recorded more than 200 bird species, including eight key passage migrants. This is a paid event with a fee of ₹1500. Participants must arrive in Bhuj, Gujarat, by 3 PM on September 13th. Transportation will be provided from Bhuj and throughout the survey. For more details, please check the link provided!
