Report Release Of State Of India’s Birds 2023

The launch of the second edition of the State of India’s Birds (SoIB) on 25 August at the India International Centre in Delhi. SoIB 2023 is based on more than 30 million observations of around 20,000 birdwatchers and researchers, which has been put together by a consortium of 13 partner organisations. The State of India’s Birds report is the result of assessment of more than 900 Indian species according to their distributional range and trend in abundance. The report places species into High, Moderate and Low categories of conservation concern. Join the event and learn more about the current conservation status of India’s birds.
