Siddarth Foundation is conducting a nature education session exclusively for women at Periyakulam, Coimbatore as a part of the World Rivers Day celebration. Periyakulam is spread over an area of 1.295 km2 and has an average depth of 5.82 m. The lake is fed by canals derived from Noyyal river which is one of the most important rives of Coimbatore.
