One hundrad and thirteen migratory birds were ringed at Jayakwadi Bird Sanctuary. This is reported to be the first such exercise since the sanctuary came in existence in 1986. The ringing project was carried out as a part of a study on the Central Asian Flyway by experts from Bombay Natural History Society and the forest department officials.
