Bihar Forest Department Discover First Breeding Site Of Endangered Indian Skimmers

The Bihar Forest Department has discovered the first breeding site of endangered Indian skimmers in the Vikramshila Gangetic Dolphin Sanctuary in Bhagalpur district. Seven Indian skimmers were spotted for the first time in the sanctuary at Bihar. Indian Skimmers are named so because of their larger lower bill which is used to skim water while hunting.
