Discover Enviro is organising a bird watching trail for amateur birdwatchers at Maharashtra Nature Park, Mumbai. Situated near the Mithi River, Maharashtra Nature Park was earlier a garbage dumping ground which was later converted to a nature park. Even though the larger part of the park has a man made forest, it is also surrounded by mangrove forests which makes it an ideal habitat to spot shorebirds.
