A Basic Course in Field Ornithology and Bird Migration Studies is being offered by BNHS (Bombay Natural History Society) at Point Calimere, Tamil Nadu. This workshop aims to build a network of birders and bird ringers to support the Central Asian Flyway. It will train participants in bird population monitoring, including bird counts and bird marking, along with classroom sessions covering various aspects of bird migration study techniques.
