The Birds Of The Delhi Area’ by Sudhir Vyas is a comprehensive book that introspects the current knowledge on the status of birds of the Delhi region. The book includes the changes the were observed over decades in the region. It talks about the history of the many Delhi- based bird clubs and the various repositories of bird information. Sudhir Vyas is a former diplomat with more than 50 years of experience of bird watching in Delhi and has also authored an article on the birds of Delhi in the journal Indian Birds.
