Sadas or Lateritic plateaus are seen as wastelands and accordingly have been added to the Wasteland Atlas of India. On the contrary, they are a globally unique and endangered habitat, and home to many endemic species. This article aims to develop a campaign to educate, increase awareness and stop the process of further development in the area.
