The Ornithological Council is an international consortium of scientific societies in the Western Hemisphere. It works towards incorporating ornithological research into legislative, regulatory and management decisions. In collaboration with Ornithological Exchange it provides job listings for ornithologists. It also organizes conferences and meetings related to bird research and conservation.
