The Centre has imposed a ban on the use, sale and manufacturing of veterinary drugs Ketoprofen and Aceclofenac, which are used to treat cattle. Vultures feeding on cattle carcasses treated with these drugs suffer mortality due to visceral gout and kidney failure.
