The Kessel Fellowship for ornithological research is a fellowship by American Ornithological Society. It will be awarding four fellowships of $15,000 each for ornithological research and is directed to early-career scientists. The fellowship supports a range of ornithological research currently published in peer-reviewed journals, such as avian biology, ecology, behavior, conservation, genetics, interdisciplinary work.
